As a dedicated educator and mentor with a passion for empowering both students and staff, I bring a unique and diverse perspective to our learning community. Born and raised in a war-torn region of the former Yugoslavia, I migrated to the United States in 1998 with my family, carrying with me not only the weight of our personal struggles but also a deep commitment to overcoming adversity. The challenges we faced during our migration shaped me, instilling resilience, determination, and a strong belief in the transformative power of education.

I am proud to be the first in my family to earn both an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development and Education, as well as a graduate degree in Business Administration. These accomplishments reflect my relentless drive to build a better future, not only for myself but also for the children, families, and communities I serve.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of holding numerous roles within the childcare and education sectors, including Teacher, Assistant Director, and Executive Director, in addition to various leadership positions in the business industry. These experiences have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both the educational and operational aspects of running effective learning environments. Each position has further solidified my commitment to supporting children’s growth and development, as well as fostering a collaborative, positive culture among staff and stakeholders.

My journey has been shaped by resilience, a deep sense of purpose, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every individual. I am passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing spaces where both students and educators can thrive, learn, and grow together.
