A Word from Our Director
Meet Kelly:
I am the director at Bright Beginner’s Academy! I have a Bachelor’s Degree with a dual major in elementary education and in special education from Purdue University. I was a special education teacher at a public elementary school prior to starting my career at BBA! I have been at Bright Beginner’s Academy since before we opened our doors in 2017! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family!
Meet Emma:
I am the assistant director at Bright Beginner's Academy. Prior to becoming the assistant director I taught in our pre-kindergarten classroom for 3 years. I am currently working on obtaining my Child Development Associate Credential. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family!
Meet Bekah:
I am a toddler teacher here at Bright Beginner's Academy. I work with the 1-year-old age group. I started working with children at the age of 10 in a Church Nursery. I love to read, play the piano, watch old movies, and garden in my spare time. I have been working at BBA for two years now. I am currently in college and plan to graduate in August.
Meet Paige:
I am a toddler room teacher! I work with the 2-year-old age group! I have been working at Bright Beginner's Academy for two years and love working with the kids. I started babysitting at a young age and love that I can continue to work with children. My joy in life is being a mother to my daughter.
Meet Kallie:
I am a preschool teacher in the 3-year-old classroom. I have been working at Bright Beginner's Academy for over a year now and I have enjoyed it so much! I am currently working on obtaining my Child Development Associate Credential. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is to spend time with my family!
Meet Cassi:
I am a toddler teacher in our 1-year-old room. I have been with Bright Beginner's Academy for two years. I grew up babysitting, and ran an in-home daycare for 5 years. That is where my passion for working with children began. I am currently in college and plan to graduate in August.
Meet Grace:
Hi, I’m Grace Dixon! Working with children has always been a dream of mine. I am excited to be able to fulfill that dream by working here at BBA. I love teaching children about the joy music can bring into our lives. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano and cello.
Meet Naomi:
Hi, I’m Naomi Nelson! My home is in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I am a senior at Hyles-Anderson College studying Secondary Education. I have been working in childcare for 3 years and I have so much fun. I love seeing the growth that each kid shows as they get older!
Meet Julia:
Hi, I’m Julia Owens! I have been working at BBA for over 3 months and have enjoyed every minute of it. I recently enrolled in college and am working on furthering my education. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my friends.
Meet Katie:
I am the 3 year old preschool teacher here at Bright Beginners Academy. I really enjoy working here and talking with all the kids and my coworkers. In my free time, I enjoy going shopping and getting my nails done. I also play volleyball on a coed league!
Meet Faith:
Hi, I'm Faith, a camp counselor who loves working with kids! I aspire to become an elementary art teacher. I enjoy working with the kids at BBA and hope to make a positive impact. In my free time, I make art and hang out with friends.
Meet Rachel:
Hi, I'm Rachel, a teaching assistant at Bright Beginner's Academy. I work with 2-and-a-half-year-old children, and I love it! I babysat and worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Now, I want to continue nurturing young minds and setting good examples.
